"The Production of Death"
HOLOCAUST NIGHTMARES
the exhibition opened on
Rosh Hashanah
(September 2009)
at the Museum of Religious Arts
in Logan, Iowa. "Life in Shadows"
was one of the original 8 posters
that I had created, and it was
selected as the advertising poster
for the show.

"In Germany"
In Germany they first came for the Communists,
and I didn't speak up
because I wasn't a Communist.
Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn't speak up
because I wasn't a Jew.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists,
and I didn't speak up
because I wasn't a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Catholics,
and I didn't speak up
because I was Protestant.
And then they came for me,
but by that time
no one was left to speak up...

holocaust nightmares:
a gallery exhibition
I have had nightmares about the Holocaust
for the past 29 years. They started at the age of
13. My exhibition of gallery work began during
graduate school. A new project was assigned to
create a political series of something. It could be
a series of postage stamps, posters, cards--
whatever we found appropriate within
two-dimensional form.
I chose my Holocaust nightmares.
My series formed into a total of 8 political
posters surrounding the imagery, people and
places that I witnessed in my sleep.

"Only the Jews"

"Dachau: Baracke X"

"Dear Diary"
Living with Ghosts:
Is it the same as a soul
dragging a corpse around?
If each person in this world
had nightmares about the Holocaust
when they fell asleep at night;
how would the world be a different place?
**All proceeds or profits raised from
any of my exhibitions / prints will be donated
to the Institute for Holocaust Education
which is located in Omaha, Nebraska.
